Will you be mine?

I am so happy I married a sweetheart. A man who loves the Lord and loves showing me I am worthy of all that he offers. Every valentines day he has a $20 budget and gets creative...

I know it's cliche, but I love him more everyday. More than when I married him. More than I ever thought I could. He is God's gift to me...

Every good and perfect gift is from above,

coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights,

who does not change like shifting shadows.

Thanks for visiting our blog! We are students at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary (beginning our undergraduate studies). We just finished our first semester and are ready to jump into summer!! We are here preparing and being equipped to do the Lords work overseas in hopes that EVERYONE has the opportunity to receive Christ as their savior (if you have questions about this please check out the bottom of our page). You were designed for something far greater than a day-to-day existence: a relationship with God.

The Bible teaches us that we are all separated from God because of sin, our own wrong thoughts and actions*. Sin leads to death and hell*, and none of our good works can change that*.

But there's good news! Jesus Christ paid for our sin by His death on the cross*. Through faith in Him, and Him alone, we can be reconciled with God here-and-now* and live in heaven with Him forever*.

Not only that, but God promises to change us from the inside-out*, to free us from the bondage of sin through the Holy Spirit*, and to give our lives meaning and purpose* as we learn to live for Him instead of ourselves*. We can deepen our relationship with God by spending time with Him through prayer, worship, and Bible study, by obeying His teachings, and by meeting with other believers.
