Update on K-man

God has been ever present in our journey to help our little guy. In the past few weeks we have learned that his speech issues are medically related and not (PTL) learning disabilities. We have already met with several doctors and he is scheduled for surgery in early June. This could not have come at a better time. He begins therapy this week and we are praying, with therapy, he will progress quickly. Here are some recent pics of our silly guy. He brings us lots of laughs!!!
Thank you to all of you have called us and encouraged us these past few months. Walking in obedience to God's call on our lives has been both the biggest blessing and the biggest challenge we have ever faced. However, few people in this country get to truly walk by faith...and we get to! We are excited about what God has for us this summer and the work he is doing in the lives of our children.

**I know this update is a little vague (due to the public forum). If you want a more detailed update just call me:)

A natural performer

It's no surprise that H loves the spotlight. This past Sunday she performed with her choir. Here is a clip.

**Be sure to watch until the end....it's sure to make you laugh!! She is the blondie in pigtails on the bottom right:)

The Fort Worth Ballet's production of Sleeping Beauty

L was chosen by her school to attend the ballet at the Bass Performance Hall. She was given three tickets, so both H and I were able to go along. It was amazing, to say the least. We had fun getting all dressed up!!

I was having so much fun with the girls I forgot to take more pictures. But this is what I got...

Downtown Fort Worth was crazy due to the art festival. The traffic reminded me of a line at
Disneyland...but it was well worth the wait. Matt and K drove me and the girls so we
wouldn't have to bother with parking...He is so sweet.
The Downtown Signs
L on the way to the ballet...missing her first tooth!!
The ceiling in the Bass Performance Hall is remarkable....it is a beautiful venue.
L saw her friend at the ballet too.
H had so much fun! It was her fourth ballet and she loves them.
The funniest moment of the evening was when the men came on stage to dance. H quickly says, "why do the boys have to be here?" and L covered her eyes because she "could see everything and it was gross!!"

One day they will grow up and get married. But for now, I'm happy that they aren't interested.

This is the prettiest time of year...the campus is beautiful.
Price Hall
The Seminary is beautiful at night too.
I will post more pictures soon of our campus. It is gorgeous and so relaxing. We are so blessed to be here...

Just call me Grace

Last Sunday (Easter) our group of friends got together at our complex to celebrate the RISEN KING and eat together. After lunch and our Easter egg hunt (pictures posted in my previous post) we started a game of kick ball.

It was the guys vs the girls and included everyone (ages 2-35). I found out very quickly that this is a pretty competitive bunch!!

About 30 minutes into the game (which lasted 3 hours) I was playing 3rd base and attempted to get another out for my team. However, I was running barefoot and tried to stop before I got to the sidewalk...

My feet stopped but the rest of me didn't!! Oops:)

The picture really doesn't do it justice. My leg hit the edge of the sidewalk just below my knee. You can see the grass stain and the red mark right below my knee...and then that huge knot/bump thing...ouch!!

I am learning very quickly that I am not (and may never be athletic).

But I did finish playing the game...and got cool points from the guys for having an injury...nice. Matt kept saying, "Mia, does that hurt? You are so awesome!!"

Funny how guys things getting hurt is cool.

Playing Catch Up

It's been a few weeks since I've posted anything...sorry. I would like to say that I have been so busy in school that I haven't had the time, but that wouldn't be true.

Truth is, having our kiddos sick, meeting with doctors for Kevin, and school work it's been a little much.

But, alas, I have de-acctivated my Facebook account and therefore, should have time to keep up with my blog.

HERE IS THE LAST COUPLE OF WEEKS IN PICTURES
